Stolen GSXR1000

Went to the round up in dallas this weekend and someone stole my 07 GSXR1000 out of the parking garage at the Park Inn by Radison off of West Mockingbird Lane. Asked to see the tapes but management is being funny about it. It is yellow and silver. I know it happened in Dallas but you never know, maybe someone will see something, so I thought I would post. The bike is stock but there is a crack in the tail section on the right side and the front fender ride side is broken off too.

Put a wanted add on dallas craigslist for parts and a gsxr 1000. Any legit offers explain the situation so you have eyes in dallas, anything fishy and investigate further...

Any smart thief won't put it on CL, he or she will take it to a shop. But this tactic has worked before and is worth a try! Someone desperate for money might try CL

Yup, If my bike was stolen.. I would do anything and everything to try and find out who did it. My bike is part of me. Its not like a car its not like an xbox or any other material object. I have no kids and no wife so my bike is my baby.

If I found them with bike or no bike... well what happens next ...

What's the vin and license plate #s?

I just seen one at the Kroger's by my house yesterday, had pilot road 3's on em. Chrome yoshimura slip on.

Let us know if there is anything on your bike that stands out. Also, Post up your most recent picture(s) of the bike.

Most usually post signs basically saying "we're not responsible for theft"

If they didn't charge you for parking then you're likely not going to win a lawsuit against them

My bike was stolen from me and I found it 32 hours on CL and I went over to this guys house with the sheriff and got my bike back.

Sorry for your loss bro, hopefully it will turn up soon.

Yea, you can always hire a lawyer. May not do any good but it can't hurt

Just curious, is there a chance that it was towed? Did you accidentally park in a fire lane or something? All I read was it was taken from a parking garage.

P.S. Even though I knew it was my custom bike listed on CL, the cops couldnt do anything without the vin showing in the ad. Such bullshit! I had to call 911 and say I was going to kick this guys door in and get my bike back before HPD moved to help me, I called in the report and sat 90 minutes waiting for HPD MFers. I told 911 "they could either prevent somebody from being beaten or they could show up and do thier job" needless to say, HPD showed up 5 minutes later, after waiting 90...
