hey jay, there should be a fuse for the tip sensor, also if you plan on taking off the front cowl, stay and like that youll have to unscrew that little black box that this wire pugs into from your headlight to the cowl. after taking that off you can stick that somewhere else on your bike and it will run, without doing that your fuel pump wont turn on when you turn the bike on. That goes for any f4i. goodluck and get some slimfast

You can do like I did and just ride it with all the plastic til you just can't zip tie it back on. It will be street fightered soon enough.

hey, maybe at least now bri's bike will last long enough for him to ride street with me!

oh, and on a better note: I RODE THE 600!! its soooo fun, why didnt i get one?! its not that much different, just taller and torquier.

what???

it wouldnt fit in my truck!!! remember? had to SLAMMMMMM the tail gate.. my 600 and brians f4i both fit in there with about 1 inch to spare.. you 500 is longer than the average bike.
