Earlier in the thread the OP mentioned taking 30 minutes to get home at 160mph, does anyone here not see some major engine failure in this person's future? There's a reason there are so many spectacular engine failures at the Isle of Mann TT, there is only so much WOT any engine can withstand and I have to believe 160 is purt near the top end of an R6.
That's all I got. Be stupid if you want to be, just don't be blind about it.

160 indicated, assuming all stock and no gearing changes, is closer to 145-150 with average speedo error..

Plenty of room to go faster.

I can bet he didn't run that speed the entire way either...

Sure. And some engines are not built for longevity. Some are built to make stupid HP and hopefully finish a race like TT. Not all do both with success
