how many bikers have chl.

I talked to a customer today wearing a 4 cell mag-lite flashlight, while on his bike.i asked him why he had such a hugh flashlight. He replied Protection.I was a bit puzzled.I lifted my shirt and showed him my XDM 40.we had a good conversation .about bikes and carrying protection,
I was wondering how and riders carry.
I have a Ruger LC9 in my pocket and XDM.40 in the backpack.
Would like more feedback.

I carry either a Glock 19 or my baby SIG P238. I once went to the range on my bike to do some clay shooting with my Mossberg shotgun strapped to my back.

I'm not worried about needing a gun when I'm riding; only Tom Cruise can shoot and ride simultaneously.

I like guns, I really do. But when it comes to being on the bike, and a fight or flight situation arises, my chances of getting away are greater than winning a "fight". Plus, I'm right handed.

Always think about the old cop bikes (Indians, Harleys, etc.) that had the throttle on the left, so that they could shoot with their right. Can't even wrap my brain around twisting my left hand, to go.

Nah those reinforst knuckles on the gloves and the overall ability to escape quickly are enough....... Plus I don't have a chl yet so who knows.

Can I carry a pistol in a back pack on my bike without a chl? I carry in my car and never had a problem when pulled over.
