Thanks. I'll be damned - do you sip, swill or guzzle it?

Guess I should respond, now that I have been called out. Thanks for the ride X-ray.

I had a baked chicken breast, broccoli, and half a liter (33.8 oz.) of water for breakfast once I got to the track. I eat pretty healthy most of the time, so anything without grease or fat breaks down very quickly in my system. Each session I would kill a banana/cliff bar, most a liter of water, and sometimes gatorade.

For lunch I had a burger with all vegetables I could find and more water. That felt a bit heavy.

I also supplemented with some glutamine capsules after session 2 and after the 4th session. The glutamine aids in muscle function and recovery. It delays my legs from burning out as quickly during cornering. Glutamine also helps to prevent you from catabolizing muscle during prolonged workouts like TRACKDAYS.

By the end of the trackday a drank nearly 2 gallons of water, 4 or 5 cliff bars, 5 bananas, two 12 oz. gatorades, a burger (lunch), and breakfast.

Overall I felt great considering it was my 1st trackday in 2 years. Today, only my thighs are moderately sore. I consider that a victory.

I did take X-ray out to a bbq shop afterward to thank him for the ride.

That was some good stuff. Hard to beat local businesses in the community for bbq.
