i think, (someone had told me once) that a (novice)CMRA rider is required to have a Yellow # plate on the left hand side of the upper fairing.

However i do not have a CMRA lic. or #, I do plan on getting a lic. this year, I may not race ( too expensive for me with a wedding in my midst ) but i at least want to become a licensed CMRA individual, I would like to do some endurance racing in the future.

shall we say, Team Carbon!? Teresa and myself can do endurance races on the Ride Smart

Remember you still have to race ( 2 race weekends without crashing ) and corner-work before you get your license.

Paint looks pretty nice, you are quite busy with rattle cans these days! Am I to assume correctly that an HVLP gun and compressor are on the wedding gift list? Are you registered at ICI, Dupont and PPG??
:laughing6

actually, some nice guy on here (mh) has offered me an hvlp gun for my own personal use. thanks to tony!! I need to get it picked up, I have one more project to do (my old R1 race glass) i would like to be set up to use this gun on. As long as I can find time, i will try to pick up this gun from tony and get larger compressor to do this project with. I bought this glass used and got my moneys worth so, i want to redo the paint and try to sell em at one of our trackdays.

Hey James...I went by that Harbor Freight Tool shop on jones@290 and found a few gravity feed spray guns for cheap. , with a little 1-3hp compressor, that would work pretty well compared to rattle cans! $200-$300 and you're sprayin man! That is of course if you haven't looked into it already....
