call Mancuso and confirm with them what work they actually did on the bike to be sure? C.Y.A.
Also, know that this bike is basically a straightline bike if that. That's a whole lot of motor in a 600 chassis and frame, I did not see any fork revalving work done or any fork upgrades or real suspension upgrades to accomodate all that power and added engine weight?

now read close. it a 600 frame with a 1000 motor.. you might want to ask a few more question, but if all turn out it a good deal go for it.

That's a common swap, and not that hard to do, BUT if the person that did it was a cheap they could have it up good. Check the motor mounts, check the ecu, and check the throttle bodies to make sure they're all from a 1000. Other than that...you might want to upgrade to a 750/1000 braced swingarm and 750 forks in the future.

I cant see it being worth more than an 01 1K would be worth. I say no more than 4000.00

Guess I didn't see the price, but no way is it worth more than $3500.

Yeah i would pass on it due to the age of the bike and that motor. It's an easy swap. But why would you double the value of the bike. Ask him to meet you at the place for the verification of work and appraisal. Watch how quick he backs out
