know a good/free web/html program?

sup yall. i used to have a copy of symantec visual page, but the cd broke, its the only copy i had. im looking for a SIMPLE web page creator. i basicly just need text and pics, not much of anything fancy. i dont want to use one of those "free" sites, cause they have banners/pop-ups, restricions, all that bullshit. anyone know of a simple and free app that can do this? id appreciate it!

+1, use notepad and save it as html files. If you need html help, use the free sites out there like Tucows or get a HTML book.

It's available for Winders and OSX too. I had it on my work laptop as a notepad replacement.

I've used Linux for 11 years, but switched to OSX about a year ago. I'm slowly switching from Vim to TextMate (OSX Only)
