Amazingly lightweight.

I'm much more interested in the up-coming water-cooled boxers BMW's got cookin'.

Am I the only one that thinks it will be too much bike for 95% of the people that will buy them?

This seems more like a specific track bike than a street bike

Most of all sportbikes are too much for 95% of the people that buy them. The way I see it when someone is willing to pay for another person's bills they have no business griping about how someone spends their money.

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who uses their bike to the full potential. I'm not a pro road racer but I like nice toys.

if thats the case you can pretty much say the same thing for any SS bike...

i would say more than 85% of o people that owns SS bikes cant out ride their bikes.. and im one of those people.

Hopefully there will not be a recall on the engine as with the S1000!

Very nice.
Fwiw the S1000 recall affected a very small percentage of the bikes and BMW is doing the right thing by proactively handling it vs say Suzuki with charging system issues or Honda '08 CBR1000's burning oil, or Yamaha first gen R6 transmission issues, etc........
