Did you buy it from a dealer? If so, they should have given you a paper tag, which should be plenty sufficient.

So it had a plate? Guy was probably just bein a . I would definitely argue that though. If you have all the paperwork, show that to the court. I'm not entirely sure how it all works, but that would make sense. Then again, probably means it's wrong.

You have 30 days to register a newly purchased vehicle, so if you had insurance, a signed title and transfer form and M endorsement you should be able to get it dismissed.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the area. 5th ward, 44, hedwig village and bellaire it doesn't matter some of them like pulling over sportbikes. Not all, I have been let go with a warning when I should have gotten a ticket usually hpd.

One option is to plead not guilty and request a trial. On the date of your trial you should have the plates, current registration, and everything else legal. Talk to the prosecutor and dress appropriately for court. At that point you may just be on the hook for the court costs and the original violation can be dismissed.

This is the best option. Everything else isn't definite dismissal.

you have 10 days from date of sale to transfer title into your name without penalty. You however are required to have current registration on ANY VEHICLE OPERATED ON PUBLIC ROADWAYS. People on here seem to think that registration and title assignment are the same thing. You got a ticket because of your lack of up-to-date registration, which has nothing to do with transferring the title. Anyone can purchase a temporary registration (similar to the Temp Tag that dealers put on your vehicle.
