04 750 gsxr, I have the new lever connected and new cable connected down low behind cover. There is too much play in the wire, any ideas on how to tighten it up? I'm looking online for a manual, better yet a DIY video would have been great, I shoulda recorded one.

once you have everything in place, there is an adjustment procedure.
1 - turn your upper adjuster (at the lever) in all the way, then turn it out approx 2 turns.
2 - remove the rubber black cap that is on the outside of the countershaft cover (the cover that hides your front sprocket)
3 - get a wrench and a small flat blade screwdriver (i believe it's a 12mm nut)
4 - break the nut loose, then while holding the nut, turn the adjuster screw in until it lightly bottoms out
5 - turn the adjuster nut back about 1/2 turn to give you a little freeplay
6 - while holding the screw, snug down the locknut
7 - check your lever freeplay and adjust if necessary, you should have approx 10mm (3/8") freeplay at the and of the lever before you start to feel resistance.
8 - reinstall the rubber plug

What part of town are you in?
