saw someone fall of their bike today...

I was on my way home from work today driving down the feder road of BW8 towards Fallbrook. Some guy was riding in front of me, not actin a fool or anything!

The light turns red up ahead, so everyone begins to slow down. When he comes up to the light, he stops and puts his legs out to wait for the light to turn green, BUT HIS SHOELACE IS HOOKED ON THE SHIFTER! His leg flailed around like he was epileptic for a second and he just slowly tipped over and fell.

Then nobody helped him get his bike back up. I looked across to my right and saw people laughing in 2 cars.

So who was it? Fess up!

Sometimes I wear shorts, running shoes, and sunglasses only to ride to the gas station to fill up before a ride. I feel naked.

The day I stopped wearing shoes: 2nd day I had my brand new R1 with dealer tags and everything. (second bike, mind you)

I was stopped at a light and put only my left foot down. I was on a slight incline and wanted to sit up so I held the rear brake. The felt like it was falling to the right so I put my foot down. It's still coming so I grab the front brake as I put my hands back on the grips. It's STILL falling. I move my foot farther out for more support... well I tried to. The feeler on the bottom of the footpeg was caught inside my DVSs. I slipped my foot out in time to slowly let the bike fall. I picked it back up, got my shoe back on, and waited for the green light with a tear running down my cheek. The crankcase cover had a few tiny marks that were barely visible unless you bent down to see, but I knew they were there.
