It's so weird. I'm constantly seeing posts of dumb/hardasses talking about police, but every time I stop a bike, y'all are super friendly.

I have a birds eye view of HWY 45 at night and I always get a kick out of how fast the bikers go through downtown..

Best one was watching this sportbike going 100+ only to see a cop in another lane, lock his brakes up and stay right behind the cop until he exited to 59. Then the biker took off again

The cop didn't give a , he was probably getting a kick out of how the dude almost went down trying not to pass him

Don't go so fast and you don't have to worry about it!

Edit: If you're going through downtown at night on 45, chances are I hear you and normally run to the window and watch, much like a dog. Exactly like a dog

Or it could be that you have a gun, taser, and baton to beat us with if you feel like it. Even if it is proved in court that you were out of line 90% of the time its a slap on the wrist to you.

I don't really have a problem with Police in general I am just telling you how we on the other side see it.

I have the up most respect for law enforcement officers. They see the dark side of life, and keep on trucking. We like to have fun, and hull . If I see christmas behind me, I will pull over in a safe location for the officer, and myself.

We should not be bolstering this FTP nonsense... Maybe we can change that aphorism to BTP = Beseech The Police

My disdain for police doesn't stem from traffic patrol.

When I was 16, I had just gotten off work, just got my paycheck, and it was friday. Next door was a mall and I took my skateboarded over, the vehicle I used to deliver sandwiches there and many other places nearby. Never had any problems. Was gonna get new bearings installed at one of their two skateshops inside and a game from gamestop.

That particular day, as I was skating, a Guy on a bicycle was trying to tell me something from behind from a distance, but after several attempts of trying to hear what he was saying I gave up and kept on skating. It was a small board, no tail, with large soft wheels and I was rather quick on it. This was what I made tips with.

Got to the front entrance and as I was opening the door, I heard more yelling. Turn around and the Guy on the bike was there. He told me to stop so I did and started talking to him. The Guy was a nutjob. Just yelling at me telling me I wasn't allowed to skateboard and had to leave and he was a retired navy seal and yada yada. So I started walking away a little wierded out. This him off and he kept telling me to stop. I kept saying "you told me to leave" and walking and he radioed for backup.

I said, if you're gonna do that, then I'm out of here and took off on my board again. Well there was no distance between us and he was already on his bike, he never got off. He caught up rather quick and sideswiped me off my board. I caught myself and grabbed my board. I wanted to hit him in the face with it and could tell that is what he wanted from the grin on his face. I kept on walking and he said he would escort me off the property.

During the time walking off the lot, I asked him if scooters and bikes were okay to use and he said yes. I kept asking him why skateboards weren't and he had no explanation.

Once off the property I went right back to work asking my coworker to borrow his expensive bmx bike that fueled his atheletic passion. Went right back to the mall to get my game. Passed the security Guy and his new fat friend and gave them a friendly wave and howdy boys. Got to the front entrance and was stopped by another security guard. The two on bikes came up to me and the fat one pepper sprayed me while the other detained me.

They called police and said that I was giving them a lot of trouble and was dangerous.

5 Leos showed up no less. The security guard lied, I told them what happened and I was cited for criminal trespassing.

Fought in court, after the judge reviewed the surveillance footage the charge was dropped.

In the end nothing happened to the security dudes or the cops and I was left in pain for a while for trying to do business at a mall without owning a car.

That is why I hate cops. On top of the fact that they drive like don't protect the public and steal money from good people.

They beat innocents to death, shoot unarmed people, and so on and so forth.

The day will come come when LEO's go door to door asking for guns, ammo, or illegal weapons. Do not hesitate to put a bullet in their head if that role playing event ever transpires.
