yea, i've ridden with the shorty's on a 1000rr, i loved them, especially the adjustability, but i wasn't certain the difference between the longs and shorts...i know i've seen a bunch of the crg and pazzo levers through cycle gear and on my buddies bikes...as far as the durability, i hear the shorty's are indestructible (nearly), and would make for the perfect track bike levers...just like my asv's on my dirtbike...so i think it's a great idea for me to put these on...

another option. if you join sportbikes.net and look in the monthly group buy forum - his is the monthly group buy and its no so secretive. There is, after all, 70K members.

a word of caution on the pazzos...
i had to trim down the plunger on the clutch side cus the hole wasnt deep enough and it wasnt fully allowing the clutch to engage...
it came down to maybe 2mm of flawed machining that they are aware of now so most likely it wont be an issue since i got a fairly fresh set a while back.
just a heads up.

i will say that...streetbike or trackbike...there is added functionality and if thats not good enough...they look good with my wife beater and flip flops.

No offense, but are you sure you read his post correctly on sportbikes.net? Pashnit does not post the group buy price over there either - he only mentions the list and retail, then asks everyone to PM for prices (which are better). Unless I'm looking at the wrong post...
http://www.sportbikes.net/forums/sho...d.php?t=339179

Post up a link if you are referring to something else.

I wasn't referring to the price, I was just referring to the group buy as a whole. No offense taken, price was removed 3 minutes after I posted it.

Not quite sure I'm on the same page then - why would it be less secretive over on sportbikes.net? It's the same group buy on both sites and neither site posts the group buy price on the levers.

pardon my word usage, I didn't know it was going to cause a stir. I was meaning if you didn't want to join his message board to private message him about the price, most of us here are probably on sportbikes.net or wouldn't mind joining rather than a forum mostly dealing with california riding.

For you to sleep better at night, I went ahead and alerted pashnit that a few people in houston may know the price because I briefly posted it up on a forum and we don't think it is an issue. You will still be able to get your grips at the agreed upon price.

Big Relief. :eh:

I never did have a problem with you posting then quickly deleting the price. I never brought up it the first place - most people never saw it anyway (including me). I was just curious about the secrecy comment, which is what I asked about. Don't really know about a stir, issue, or drama - maybe people are reading to much into my questions.- I'm a pretty strait shooter If you know me. Thanks for anwswering my question above - that's all I wanted to know...

where are they getting the lever from? probably motomummy?
they are a distributer if i remember correctly. join their forum, everyday price of $145 shipped, been like this for 1-2 years already? if you read up on their thread they had them for $128shipped during christmas week or so.

plus i read a bunch of forums and i seen group buy price go from $145-150 shipped. just get it from motomummy and no need to wait 2-3 weeks to get 10 people or whatever to save $10.

and batman got his from motomummy, so did a few other people on this board.

Thanks - good to know. I had visted the main site before and saw the retail price, but did not know they they offered additional saving through the forum - I havent finished the web yet - still working on it :icon_bigg I just went over and checked out the forum though - here's a link in case anyone is interested (gives the codes) http://www.motomummy.com/Forum/showt...ighlight=pazzo

BTW, Pashnit is using Fresno Motorsports in cooperation with CTS Moto which is distributor for Pazzo

Just ordered from Motomummy awesome price can't wait till they come in. I like to buy local as well and will pay a few dollars more to do so and I will try to see if they will match price. But money comes to hard and if it's more than a few dollars and they can't match what can you do.

I've had Pazzo shorty levers on 2 of my bikes and they work great for me. And after seeing the first bike crashed after I sold it, They was one of the few things that survived the crash. The clip on broke off both sides but the levers still totally in tact and useable, just scratches from the slide. I like being able to adjust them to fit my short fingers and if need be they are easily extended if you should start to get brake fade etc. etc.. Of coarse I'm no Rossi or CarbonR1, I ride the street more than the track. I must be an agressive posser?
