Exclamation R6 1/4 mile times?

I went to the baytown track last night my fastest time is 11.118 at 123.58mph. I wanna know what time I should run. I have a 2009 r6s all stock just lowered and stretched. I have a 07 zx6 mid pipe connected to my headers (ghetto rigged) but looks like a undertail

Wanna have MORE fun on that bike? Raise it back to stock height and come run at the road course tracks with us.

Its not for everyone, but for me, once I discovered road racing, drag racing is boring and WAY too short.

Plus as you see, I still go to the strip for that fun too.

Drop .10 from your 60' and you will be in the 10's. More throttle out of the hole

all of the guys that have posted their times have the R6, not the R6S. You won't be able to match their times.

Yeah. There's a pretty big horsepower difference.

Its gonna take a lot of throttle at that weight on a 6 to drop that 60'. That is where your 10's are though. You need that throttle pinned before you pass the tree ideally. You should be using your clutch like the throttle. Its a lot easier said than done. It takes a lot of seat time. For your first time I will say you seem to be doing pretty good judging by your slip. Stick with it for a while and see where it goes.

No. Its about getting the throttle wide open and controlling acceleration with the clutch. The point is to keep the engine RPM's up and stay in the power. Its way easier said than done. This is where it gets real obvious if you have a "clutch hand". I don't have it. Also if you start to wheelie, shift rather than letting out of the throttle. Don't use the clutch to shift. Blip the throttle to shift. An air shifter cuts a lot off ET since you can stay WOT all the way down the track
