I was like that doesn't look like AWD, till I saw the last 5 pics of the posting. That's is fkn ingenuity at it's finest.

Yep, they have been around a while, but I didn't know they made a supermoto version.

Exactly, they used to be over 10K I think, as you had to buy the kit and add it to what you had. I can't see if there are any dealers in Texas.

Price wise, it really isn't bad for a factory built SM, with warranty, brand new.

I've ridden quite a few bikes, and I like odd-ball stuff. Ever since I saw a video on a Ohlins modified Yamaha, I've always been interested in the 2wd bikes. The Ohlin's bike was hydraulic, and kicked in when the rear wheel slipped. I can find the article, but it received nice reviews from riders.

Christini caught my attention years ago at "The Last Man Standing" event up near the TX/OK border.

I have no idea what it would feel like to ride a two wheel drivre SM, but I'd like to find out.

Anybody want a 06 Ninja ZX10R, gently used with street and track set up...only 3K miles.

I'll keep looking for the reviews I've read on the Ohlin's bikes and the Christinis.

I did find this...

EDIT

Found the Christini footage..

Staton I see your AWD and raise you an AWD 950 Adventure, go checkout CJ Designs KTM I believe there is a pretty good write up over on the Advrider forum about his build based on Christini's design.

I think CJ is having a get together at his place in Wisconsin and has a Christini to try out either this weekend or next.
