It would be better if it was a spool stand. Ive never been a big fan of the swingarm stands but if your on a budget why not. Pitbull has the best rep

Dude, i have one of these. The price and the quality is not bad. The main problem I have with it is if you are not carefull, you can scratch your swing arm with the support part. I wrapped duct tape around the support part to avoid any further scratches on my swingarm. At the time, i was strapped for cash in my bike fund account, and really wanted to work on my bike.

a stand is a stand (i rock pit bull), but i have also used cinder blocks and 2x4s...just make sure it's stable, cheaper stands will tend to flex, would you want that holding your bike? I highly recomend the pit bulls and the vortex. The vortex is just as stable, 50 bucks cheaper, and comes in black, which to me is better than the bling bling gold pit bull. With that said, i don't know if anyone carries them in stock so they would have to special order them, which is another reason why i have the pit bull, but i have seen a lot of the vortex stands come through cycle gear when i worked there, plus i was given the demo by one of their vortex reps...
