Husqvarna Nuda X-Cross by Touratech video

So Touratech sponsored some team to take the new Husqvarna Nuda road bike with a reworked BMW 800cc parallel twin and turn it into a dirt bike with over 100 hp. Just listen to that thing. It's a beast.

O my... the prilla is about to get destroyed by Husky! This in a super moto setup would be so so so sick!

It's stock setup is like a big supermoto but it weighs 400lbs. More of a naked bike than anything else. Sexy bike. I wish they sold them here in the US.

Nice, hadn't hear of this thing until now.

I hate the fact that we don't any of the cool stuff.... Well actually in the US we aren't capped at 100hp like France is. But stilll

The Ape still came in first but Husky did well placing 2nd and 4th. Came in ahead of plenty of KTM 950/990's. I believe this is a one year thing for promotion only, similar to what BMW did when they first released their HP2 beast.

Erzberg Prologue Results - Twins

Rumor is they might be importing them next year. Could spark my interest in street riding again if they keep the price reasonable. Very sexy bike IMO and the BMW motor is well proven.

I heard that too, but I called one of the more reputable Husky dealers in the US and they hadn't heard anything from Husky about a release date which led them to believe it would probably be 2014 or even later. Apparently the delay is being brought on by the price they would have to sell them for. In the US would be like 16k or more and they know no one will pay that. I don't know if it's because of the exchange rate or what but that's too much. Needs to be like an 11 or 12k bike. I would be interested in one for sure. 100hp twin with great torque is just the right amount of power for riding in the city. Agile, 3rd gear clutch wheelies, looks great, monster brakes, great suspension, not too much power to get myself into trouble with. I don't require anymore than that in a street bike. Looks like a fun machine. The sound is amazing. Sounds like the love child of a Harley and a Ducati.

Did anything ever come of that MOAB concept built on the same platform as this?

Not in the next year but the Moab could eventually see the light. Actually the Moab was based on the F650 single. The Nuda is based on the F800 twin. There is a Strada and Terra 650 singles coming out next year but they don't break away from the mold much. The Moab and Baja concepts were quite different though.
