personnally i think they're the GHEY

but whatever floats your boat

law says license has to be at teh back of your bike, is that the back? thats the officers discretion

you MUST have a license plate light though.

I kinda like the idea of incorporating it into the chain gaurd... but it just doesn't work IMO. Maybe once I saw it on a bike I'd change my mind.
Lighting it would be kinda difficult.

You dont want the plate on the chain side. You will cleaning the grease and dirt off of it constantly. Get a curved vert mount like the one I posted up top and put it on the right hand side away from the chain.

Calm down. We all know its subjective. Just like any plate that is mounted with an under tail mount or fender eliminator

Eh, I'd prefer to clean my plate all the time rather than my tailsection. That mount looks like there would be NO WAY for lube to be slung past it.
Now, a conventional mount where the bracket is not attached to the chain gaurd, yeah, you'd have that much more to get greasy.

Unless you have a side exhaust... it wouldn't look so goofy if it was under the exhaust and not the farthest thing sticking out on the side.

It wraps around the sprocket, but you dont think it will get dirty? They look fine on the exhaust side. On your way of thinking, why have sticking out from both sides?
