Nobody is racing at the track days... except for the mock race at the end of the day for people taking the CMRA class. You get grouped with similar skill riders and go around the track. It is a little different depending on who is holding the event but, some come with class time, others offer class time. It is a real easy thing. You just need a mechanicaly sound bike and some gear. The gear can be rented of course if you do not know if it is worth the investment at first.
