If my parents threatened to throw me into eternal agony for disobeying them, I wouldn't love them, as I don't think they could really love me and do that at the same time.

that's a common misconception of the bible. dare i say it but there is no suh thing as . hades or is actually a grave. Not a place where people are tortured for all eternity. loves his creations enough to not see them tormented for all of eternity.

how are you supposed to tell the literal from the metaphorical parts of the bible? (a question raised in this video)
