Take your push rod out, that the clutch cable pulls in, it's probably pitted and has build up on it. Take a S.O.S. pad to it & get that rod to looking brand new ! Then put a thin layer of grease on it & BAM, feather like clutch !!!!!!!!!!!

Really? Thats your bad solution? You must be the only person that didn't know that rod gets filthy. I think we all assumed you had already ruled that out as your problem. I gave you way too much credit

I was really curious. My 05 clutch was pretty stiff even with stock springs. Lube helped but I still felt it was screwy. My push rod was clean though. It was about the same as my clutch is now with 3 heavy springs. The Busa is a hyd. clutch though

I looked at several gixxer forums. They all had threads about stiff clutches.

Nobody had a satisfactory answer that I could find.

Over and over, they would suggest, stiff springs, lube/replace cable, clean push rod or replace the cam mechanism.
None of those were the issue in many cases so the real solution is still a mystery.

I'm not sayin' it was aliens, but it was aliens.
