Can I sell them for more then double then? I have more than few of these in a safety deposit box.

I knew they were rare but I had no idea they were worth anything more than a grand.

Probably never sell them cause they were my Grandpas.

Depending on the condition but they have more sentimental value than what cash you could get for them. Being that they belonged to your grandpa, you'll hate yourself forever if you part with them. Keep 'em and pass them to your kids, hopefully they'll not part with them either.
