Not a big fan of the Moto Gp stuff. In my experience it hasn't held up well.

I have a fieldsheer 2 piece. Haven't gotten to "test" it, but I like the way it feels and fits.

Stephe O has a 2 piece fieldsheer that he has pet to the test one a few occasions. Seems to be nice gear.

Well I would ask about Teknic but the suit has already been crash tested and appears as though it held up very well..

I'm not a professional racer, but may as well put my 2cents in.
OMG; I've had five sets of leathers since '99! I'm a leather junkie!! lol
My first set was an AGV; I was so dissapointed in their looks and fit, but I street crashed and the paramedics had to cut me out of them, but I guess the leathers did what they were supposed to. Don't forget your back protector!!

My second: a set of fieldsheer that fit very nicely, perforated. I crashed at the beginnig of the chicane at TWS (Texas World Speedway); about 50-60. Sliding on your back is not so bad until you roll or tumble! 600.00 They held up for that crash. One are came apart at the seems, but I was able to stitch it back together.
Oct2201cresson
My third set was custom leathers made by Z leathers out of california. No crashes in them, but look toughly made and the fit is great! could use a little more perforation! 1500.00 I keep wanting to send them back for the Mandarin collar; the collar on them cut into my neck especially when I'm leaning forward in race position.
newsuit005

The fourth set I was wanting a set for street for hot days. Highly perforated but with a mesh type material, very lightweight, supposedly rated at 80mph crashes. I found these at Gimoto.com by Gimoto from Italy. Supposedly custom, but took a couple months to get them, then sent back, the second set still didn't fit, but after alterations they're getting better. Jessie, a few doors down from Patrick still has them; taking them up in the waistline by 4"!! Jessie's had them for a couple months now, but I'm sure it was a chore to take them up! Jessie's great though!!
newleathers00004
The fifth set I purchased from Ebay by a guy named Terry, very nice person. These were 499. I bought mainly cause they looked so neat and professional. Mine fit very well, but a little tight when bending the knees. so I'm stretching them here at the house. Triple stiching, zip out upper liner, hump, logos. on his message board or somewhere, had many comments from people that went down in them, and they held up well.
Each crash is Unique though!!
What suit do you have?

Got a question.....other than good old fashion wearing the leathers, is there a way to stretch them out a little bit?

My favorite is Kushitani. But I have an AGV made by Corner I use at track days and in the rain. It looks like it has been down a dozen times but will still pass tech.
