I might try to make it for the track day. Never road Oak Hill so it should be fun.

I'm there for the LSTD trackday as a cornerworker / rider on the 16th. I will possibly be racing a mini (depends on the weather) on Saturday and then heading home Saturday night. I'd like to split a room for Thursday the 16th and Friday the 17th. I will probably have an extra 2 seats and room for another bike in my Titan. I'm coming from downtown houston, probably leaving before most of the other traffic. I plan to eat dinner and drink some beers in Henderson on both nights. Maybe we can have a MH get together for all who make it up? Or share a MH room.

I'll be there thurs night thru sunday & staying at the holiday in-$75 a night-its alittle nicer than the B/W.Not sure if my buddy is going to room w/ me or not.By the way henderson is in a dry county-you've got to bring your own beer or drive to kilgore.

Darn dry counties. Kilgore it is...been there before in the oil patch. I think they have a nice Mexican restaurant on the main drag. I'm in for 1/2 or less of a $75 motel.

if someone had a toy hauler or whatever and you trailored together instead of using your own truck and also wasting your own hotel what would you consider your share of expense? just half gas? just wondering what someone would chip in to kinda nudge me to buy a toy hauler lol.

Depends how loud you snore and how cold it is. I think of sleeping in a hauler as two steps above camping and one ahead of sleeping in the back seat of my truck. $15 - 20 a night?

Hotel = hot shower, proper toilet, soft bed, possibly ladies (just kidding), but have to drive to the track.

Hauler = stinky socks, walk to pee, generator noise, race engines at 5 AM, convenient to the track, def. no ladies.

john, aside from a good buddy or whatever if someone where to trailer with you and stay, what would you say is a good share of his keep? if i were to go with someone and offered to pay whatever i want to know that its adequate and not to be stingy or anything.
