Dude, where were you?

Testing was going on since the past 2-3 months!

Hey, Moody, did you know you have the most useful signature?! I love you man - i was about to go outside in a T-Shirt!

They are currently under a testing ban until Januray 20th, and have been since December 1st. Testing will resume at Sepang on January 22. The early testing doesn't tell nearly as much as the testing leading up to the start of the season.

Oh, and Hayden will be right there battling for the Championship this year, bank on it.

some good points in the article, but , that guy is tying to think WAY TOO MUCH "out of the box". Yes, bikes, tires yada yada have changed, but unless a bike screws up significantly(like Rossi's did in 2006), the skills of some of the riders would be enough to offset those things I belive as the diferences wont be that big.

My take is that Rossi, Pedrosa would def be in top 3, probably even Stoner would be in top 5, and at least one of suzukis wld do a lot better. Iffy about hayden... he might get let down by HRC in some way or another.

pfft. the guy just proves himself and takes the championship, and your calling him iffy? :laughing6

hayden is in it to win it. im calling him in the top 3 for sure, with a fantastic chance to take the championship again. reasons?

1) personal confidence. he doesnt have to aspire to be a champion anymore, he IS one. he's no longer a hopeful, hes been there done that, got the t shirt. now he will just want to defend the title, and win again. nicky has alot of heart, now that he has won, he will have alot more confidence on the track, and its going to show. hes allready achieved his dream so ill bet he is willing to risk more this year just for fun, just to see what he can do. he'll know he is just risking a race or a season, not his whole legacy and career, as was on the line last year.

2) new respect. last year may have been haydens last chance to be considered as having the potential to become the champ. had he not won the championship, everyone may have well been considering pedrosa as repsols #1 investment. well he made use of that last chance, and proved to everyone that he has what it takes to be a champion. other riders, hrc and repsol staff, as well as track officials will have more respect for him, all that adds up to things being a little easier for him, he wont have to fight against so many odds this year.

3) new competition. with suzuki looking good as well as others, there are going to be more contenders than before. last year it was a close season down to the wire, because so many had a chance, this year will be even more. this just helps nicky, while there may be a new face, a new contender taking the #1 spot every race, the same familiar face of nicky will be on the podium next to them the #2 or #3 spot. while everyone is fighting over the 25's, nicky will be raking in the 20's and 16's race after race. guess who has the last laugh? oh and dont think nicky wont be taking a few of those 25's for himself too. i bet even rossi will have to expect nicky to take laguna again.

now as for rossi, the dude is badass, yes ill admit. if yamaha is able to keep the #46 bike running smoothly, then rossi has the best chance at taking the season, but it wont as easy as hes had it in seasons past. this is also assuming rossis mindgames dont backfire on him. i actually have a strong feeling they will. the guy gave away the 06 title on his own mistake, what could be going through his head (then and now)?

ahhh...gotcha. i would actually agree with that about HRC.

i was gonna post my predictions anyways, though... haha.

but yeah. i get the feeling the HRC repsol would rather invest in a rookie that they hope can mature fast and then win many championships. basicly they want to get someone young who can get to the top and stay there, what they want is another valentino.

kind of like when a football team puts a grade c rookie in as a starter instead of the grade b veteran. totally retarded. its like they allready think hayden is past his prime...he just won the championship, christ!

fanboy

Though annoying and often disruptive, Fanboy is a relatively harmless Warrior because his interests and knowledge are strictly limited a single obsession. He's fixated on a particular video game, a celebrity, a television show, a sports team, – almost anything, really. Fanboy’s compulsion makes him very easy to identify, but it also arms him with supernatural tenacity. The most benign criticism of his beloved immediately provokes a cascade of virulent abuse. Once alerted to Fanboy's sensitivities Evil Clown, Troller and Jerk will goad himmercilessly. CAUTION: ANYONE can become a Fanboy, but the warning signs of an emerging Fanboy are subtle and easily overlooked. For example, are you a little hasty to defend Linux?
