I would be down, but I just did a 3 week trip so running a little low on vacation time. If for some reason the moon and stars align just right I would go.

Skipping 336 isn't a bad idea. I was not impressed with it. Too many cattle guards and the road is pretty rough. I was on 337 a few months ago and it's in good shape. They repaved part of it a couple of years ago.

Alright DLite, I just played with google maps a bit and the route I have planned is a 265 mi round trip. We will not be riding Ranch Rd 336.

Forecast calls for a high of 93* next Saturday in the Hill Country w/0% precip and SE winds @ 10mph

I don't know about you guys, but I rode 310 miles from 11a-6p last weekend in the 93* heat and it was not bad at all. Completely bearable for me. It was hot when I stopped, but I was comfortable when I was rollin'... Jeans, lower armor suit, race boots, and perf Dainese jacket....

Anyways, those of you who wanted to wait for cooler months, if your schedules are open July 20-22, I would keep an eye on the weather and really consider joining us.

I'm trying to get my bike ready for the trip, but we will see. Main parts are exhaust and undertail/taillight/license plate holder, they're sorta.. non existent at the moment

So far me and Reedy07R6, another friend gave me a maybe until he finds out if he can get off work next Sunday....

If you and your friend have never been out here just know that these roads are the real deal, not your typical Sunday ride. Lots of sharp low speed blind turns on RR337. Be prepared for some awesome, but serious roads. Rule is everyone must leave their ego's at home

You guys can either meet us in Kerrville Saturday morning, or meet in Medina @ the 16/337 intersection.

I may be out there to meet up with you all. Another warning, if it rains next friday there may be a water crossing or two. It is nothing to freak out about, they are not permanent so there is no algae, but it can give you a moment if you are not expecting it. Also make sure to mug for the photographer on 337!

Just curious, what is the exact route? For some reason I saw that the sisters "loop" was about 110mi long. Maybe I misunderstood what I was looking at.

Definitely hitting the highlights. Sisterdale road from Boerne to Sisterdale and the Old San Antonio road are also good. There may be a bit of construction there now though.

Past 3 weekends.... Any roads to avoid due to construction or anything?

As far as route, I plan on riding 16,337,335,187,39, and 1340. Plan to skip 336.

Meeting in Medina sounds good...
