if it hadn't been prepped for the track it can sit out at 30 below and it won't hurt it we left them out all winter in wisconsin. They did need a new battery in the spring.

ps if prepped for the track then i only has water in the cooling system and not 50-50 like a street bike should have.

when somebody from Wisconsin tells me something like that, it makes me feel alot better about a little ice on the bike!

When i strip the bike down, and see what all i have to work with, I will make the decision if im going to rebuild it or part it out to reimburse the family loan he had to pay for the bike

engine ice I think is good down to about -5f and even below that it doesn't freeze hard.

I'm also in the process of finding/buying his racebike (#68 in my sig) It was the one that kept up with freddy spencer, roberts brothers, and other old skool road racers back in his day

thats sweet dude, that sounds like a better idea than to rebuild the r1 if the damage is as bad as you describe.

Yeah, I just hope i can find it:eh: Last i heard of it was that the andrews brothers here in waco hold it to a guy, and the guy laid it down at TWS (Texas World Speedway)
