I had seen Rob at trackdays, Vaughn I met at the races..
Jason I met when we got together with Rob to plan the trip to Denton for a race...
so don't let not knowing anyone stop you... go and then you will get to know folks.. whether you want to or not...

Thanks for all the advice guys. I will probably just show up to the races a few times to get my face out there and meet a couple other guys. I don't have a bike specifically for that, but have the tools and the know-how and the mulah to make it happen. Just kind of waiting and being patient before getting into it. Need a new weekend hobby, since i have stopped tracking it on the big bike as much. I am not making it hard, just doing some chit chatting in here. Work keeps me very busy, well i have no kids right now, so i exploit that to get as far into my career by working all the overtime possible to get ahead until i do.

Or he can go with a very tried and true method here on MH. Be such an on the forums that people will actively look for you at events you say you're going to attend.

By they way, Obed. I'll see you out there in September. I don't know when I'll field a serious bike, but I plan on getting my TMGP license then. I'll just run the 50 in the sprints to finish the license course.

sounds good, and if you live on the west side then you are close to several of the guys... Steve, Rob and i think Jim...
next time you see us post up about going out to practice, you might come out introduce yourself and check out the bikes.

I think that if I get involved she may eventually decide to as well. First priority would be getting that 100 up on 16s.

, I'd brag to everyone if she was spanking me on the minis.

I know what you mean there Kib, I wish I could get my wife to join me on the minis, but she is a little scared of it... she rides her suzuki up at the farm but nothing in front of folks.
and tomballD, the crf100 is a good choice, at least IMO.

I like the smaller framed bikes. I'm actually really comfortable racing around on the 50. If only I could make it competitive in TMGP without completely rebuilding the bike.

I am not really comfortable on the small frame... maybe because i am fat, I have looked at the KX65 and the KTM65, but could not bring myself to pull the trigger.
