Battlax Hypersport s20 ?

Battlax Hypersport s20

I just picked up and installed a set of these tires from Wild West, they had such an AMAZING introductory price going for these tires I couldn't pass them up,
I thought they forgot to charge me for one of them when I paid. must be the MotoHouston.com Discount
attachmentphp?attachmentid58260&ampstc1&ampd1341660631

Anyone else running on these?
Im so curious to see how they feel today and how well they will last

My "baby" is so happy with new rubber, new plugs, clean air filter, oil change and coolant (engine ice).

I love em. Just picked up a set a few weeks ago and had 2 Wheel Toyz mount them. They hook well, great grip. They handle really well in the rain/wet. My previous tire was a pilot power 2ct, and I must say this tire is much better.

Just finished my second session here at TWS (Texas World Speedway), they work well off-road too! Lol

I have a rear with about 1500 miles on the Streetfighter. The first 1000 miles were riding pretty damned hard in northern Arkansas.
Grip was excellent, even accelerating hard while leaned over. First tire I trusted enough to make leaning wheelies a common thing.
It shows little wear and I expect the front will be as good when it's time. Defintely plan, at this point, to buy them again.

I'm on battleaxes as well and the grip limit is engraved in my head. Good predictable tires in both wet and dry.

My set was just delivered. $212 shipped

I'm hoping to get more miles out of these and less bad luck with nails

I picked up a set of S20 for the FZ1. I have the 016 pro and really like em, and the S20 is supposed be better. Bill worked out a great price on a set of Dunlop Q2 for my gixxer. I could've gone with the S20s, or any good SS tires, but I wanted to try something different on the track bunny.

Hats off to WWH and Bill for doing the best to help MotoHouston members. At these great prices, i'm gonna change my tires early. The extra safety and performance with fresh tires is well worth it.

Hows the grip compare to the Q2? Anyone ran both?

Bryan/Orion has, I'll get his opinion on that.

He used the S20 at the Tail of the Dragon and we weren't going easy on the Cherohala Skyway and Blue Ridge... he said it didn't even slip at ALL. He was impressed by the tire.

Like I said, I'll get his opinion on comparison to the Q2.

Bryan said the following:

"S20 has more turn in than the Q2, and as far as traction, I've not slipped either of them so I have no comparison. Though, they both have good feel. I need more seat time with them to tell more, really. S20 SHOULD last longer of course. Confidence inspiring edge grip or something like that."

Whatever that means.

Hows the warm up compare? The Q2 is ready right out of the box pretty much..

Good to know the feel is similar. May have to try a set on the TL when the Q2's are done.

If anyone would like to try a set of Dunlop Q2's call me on tuesday for pricing. I'll hook you guys up so you can try them and decide which tire is better. Everyone has their own opinion on what tire is best, the best thing you can do is try the different brands to determine which tire is best for you're riding style and bike. Let me know if I can help. For those of you who prefer a little more tire life over ultimate performance, the Pirelli Angel is a great tire. I have a lot of customers getting excellent life from the Pirelli without any sacrifice in performance.
