Re look at that. Video, reverse lights come on at 3 seconds. She knocks the bike over at 14. It took 11 seconds to back out?

Didn't know it was my job to watch other drivers at a stop sign with STOPPED traiffic.
And before any of your other dumb comments. Lawyers fixed all this and wreck was 100% her fault as she was on her cell phone while driving.
But thanks for your .02

I always thought the safety of the motorcycle rider was up to the rider, not the cars around him. Yeah, you may want to watch your surroundings more carefully, next time you overlook a car about to hit you, it may be under freeway conditions.

If you don't want to protect yourself, then don't, but I'm one aggressively defensive riding

I probably would have stopped behind her, and I might have missed her backing up, but if I had been scoping out my 360 better, I could have avoided that. Hey man, not trying to hammer you about getting hit, just wanted to point out that the rider has to assume all the responsibility. Someone once told me you can't count on car drivers to see you.

That is actually kinda funny watching it. Those 3-4 seconds from initial visual really recognition to contact seem to take forever. I was watching saying nnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooo....... awwww.
