Just got back... hit the clovers and allen parkway. Just to feel some turns in the city. Wow the bike felt so smoth and tight at the same time.
Motorcycles Unlimited does a great job and even take the time to tell you why they are doing what they are doing.
I forgot already. lol
This was deff the best 30 bucks on the bike. Now its time to hit some twisties again

I was watching the "Extras" on the "A Twist of the Wrist II" DVD and it was all about setting up your suspension.

Do you really think this would make much of a difference on a stock 2012 Ninja 650, with a 155# rider?

I don't know if they'll do much for your ride height, but you won't want to be anywhere where your feet touch the ground when they're done anyway.

Damnit, I have been putting this off long enough, lol. Generally, what is the wait time for this procedure to be completed? If I have to be at work at 2pm and it's 30 minutes away from your shop, when would be the best time to stop by?

Call them.
When I had mine done they got on it pretty quick and it took maybe a 1/2hr or so.

How much difference you experience is gonna vary...

If your bike is pretty far off and you're sensitive to the feel, it will be huge. So huge when I left the shop they suggested I take it easy for the first couple miles to get the feel of things.
On the other hand if your bike is pretty close and you don't notice little changes, it might not make a big difference.

Overall it's well worth $30 to make sure you are getting all your bike has to offer.
If you don't you'll never know.

We can usually pull you up pretty much as soon as you get here.
Most set ups take around 30 minutes.

Either Patrick @ Motorcycles Unlimited or Tony @ HoPD. Those are the only 2 places in Houston I know to take my bikes to. Last 3 bikes I've owned, the suspension got setup within the first few days of ownership. When I got my first bike in 2007, I didn't know any better, and never ended up getting it done. Now, it's the first thing I do once I acquire another motorcycle

I had my 954 tuned by Motorcycles Unlimited. Awesome. Plan on bringing the CBR1000 to them soon.
