newrider-tell us about your tmgp style trackday

what did you think of the katy track?

I have been working on that. PoPo is a prime candidate.

I wouldn't call myself I prime candidate. I own the hardware, but minis will always be second to big bikes.

yep, been thinking about putting TMGP Pimp under my user ID... popo came up with a good idea... i think TMGP is something that most guys could do that would not cost and arm and a leg and would improve their big bike riding in the process...
however the purpose of this thread was to get Ivan to tell us what he thought about the bikes and the track. i know some guys have a little issue with the size of their dicks and look down on TMGP as though it was some lesser activity than their riding at trackdays... the simple truth is that many of those same scoffers could not keep up at TMGP days...

next time you see us going out to Katy to practice, holler at me and you can show up and take some laps on my bike to see how it feels. Joey and Ivan rode my bike and steve's yesterday, and while we have not heard too much from them yet, I think they liked it... as of now, both of them are looking for bikes to buy. I enjoy the out of racing the TMGP bike and i do not think of it as competition to my cbr600, i think of it as adding 8 or more race weekends to my options.
I would love to see more guys on the grid, that would make it even more fun.
