Preface: I am not preaching, just offering some advice. I do not feign to be a riding expert...just a 45 year old who still has two working arms and legs.

After reading numerous posts about the events on FM 362 that occured on Sunday, I had to go on a sortie this morning to check it out. I have been on that patch of road numerous times in the past but not in a few years.
I rode the infamous turn six times this morning from both directions and wanted to offer advice to some of the newer riders.
1) These are the perfect corners to practice TURNING your head and looking through the turn. I mean turn your head, look through the turn, and not just track with your eyes. Practice this on every turn and you will notice your ride getting smoother and your lines getting tighter.
2) As I was making my fourth pass, I could not help but notice that when looking at the those yellow turn markers, it was distracting as and throwing me off my line. I was checking them out to see where Luckydevil's bike clipped one. Anyway the point here is that many turns do not have them and when you do encounter them, watch the road and not the signs on the side of the road (except for recommended corner speed).
3) Try riding one gear lower and let engine braking slow your entry speed rather than hitting the brakes as often which upsets the chassis and has a tendency to make your ride kind of choppy or hectic.
4) Do not write checks your can't cash. Just slow down and enjoy the ride because it is not a roadrace. Anyone with a right hand can be fast in a straight but it takes finesse to ride smoothly in the curves.

Also when we get off 290 on to 362, it should be single file noob and non noob. 2-3 seconds or more depending on comfort level.

Noobs take your hands off the brakes through the turn adjust through leaning or countersteering.

It should be single file on most roads after 290. Small two lane roads aren't safe for staggered riding, especially without runoff. It should most definitely be single file in ALL turns.

Got my sag set so I'll be there.
Noob pace will be at the posted SL
We'll start off on 362 at the recommended yellow corner speeds; if that feels too slow for everyone, we'll try riding a PACE style: same speed all the time.
Either way, we won't exceed the SL (assuming my Speedohealer is set right!)

What? Why would I do that? What happens if I'm not covering and need to come to a stop quickly?
