If you have the money for rear sets, invest in them. My 2nd track day I upgraded to the vortex rearsets on my R6 and it greatly improved my BP. I was about to throw myself over quicker and lean better.

First TD stock rear sets
EVwzy?1
3rd track day with rear sets
Q38lk?1

I worked on getting my head down a little more but that's about it. If you want to really get the best BP you can, then get rear sets. The stock R6 rearsets were not adjustable so I had to upgrade. If you can adjust yours then Id say put them at the highest settings.

PS make sure you learn the line and stay in it. I would guess that you were off line and compensating with lean angle to negotiate through some turns causing the pegs to scrape.

I mean this one..

16th track day

last track day
(1 month after I crashed)

http://www.hart-photography.com/phot...7&fromFavs=yes

All this track days and still up to today.. have been done on stock rear sets (with out cutting anything) and adjusting anything. I still have stock clip ons and looking to update.

I will think the aftermarket clip ons and rear sets will help on my body possition but the 1st thing you'll need to fix is the rider.

I have stock suspention, pegs, clip ons. the only thing I've done is exhaust and k&n filter.

Go have fun, work on your B/P and just like they said... ad B/P so you dont have to lean her over that far.

Hey Josh,
You might have your suspension setup again. If you are dragging hard parts at a moderate lap time (which is to be expected as a first time track rider) your suspension might be too low.

Have Patrick check it at at motorcycles unlimited.
