Question Dragging hard parts

When I went to the track last week at MSRH I drug both foot pegs and my brake pedal. What do you guys do about it? Are there aftermarket pegs and pedal or some relocation brackets?

So I'm getting my bike to low? I should work on better bp and not replace parts?

My bet is that it is a little of both. Work on bp of course, but you can also just cut about an inch or so off your pegs. I did this on my r6 stock pegs and it helps. It also keeps your foot locked in better.

This one was the best BP I've found of you.(I'm guessing it's you based on your avatar) Not to be mean, but parts don't fix lazy.

Don't worry about the internet pro's. Keep working on your BP and be aware of your lean angle. If you ride street use that time to work on it as well. It takes time to break the habits learned on the streets. I still work on my BP every track day. If you start by trying to get your head down the body will follow. See you out on the track. Keep looking to improve.

how much do you weigh??

know way clearance (on an 07 gsxr) should be a problem this soon unless the suspension is shot or your body position is very wrong for the speed and effort your putting in.

200lb. Suspension was set for my weight a year ago. I know where I drug the brake pedal and that was all error. Came into s&s too hot and rear drifted out while I was leaning and put the bike VERY close to the ground.

Parts don't fix riding. You can't just throw money at your bike and instantly go faster. Yes, you can get aftermarket foot pegs. I have them, but mine stick out even farther than stock. There is a reason for that.

help the bike by transferring some of your bodyweight to the inside of the corner and of course as everyone will tell you, look through the corner and not where your front tire is about to go.

plenty of good info and help on here if you do a quick search

I hope you can see that I'm not here to laugh and point fingers. I'm just trying to interject some reasoning into your riding before you spend money that doesn't give you the results you are looking for.

Maybe I should get off my bike enough to where the bike doesnt even need to lean, my body can carry it around the corner like this.

Pics are awesome. I know we are both seeing things we can improve on. Let's go out there and make each other proud next time! If not, let's just go have fun.

Bottom line: I'm sorry for coming off as a D-bag.

Here is what happens when you don't use BP. This was me at my last TD before MSRH.

Was there a reason behind it or are you normally just a douche? If you got something on your mind, by all means let it out, I'd like to know. At least next time you'll know this is the reason why I'm being a towards you.
