Need Help Finding A Low Light Camcorder

I work late afternoon shift therefore most of my riding is at night. Was wondering if anybody has one or have used a low light camcorder or if anybody has any info on one. I heard the new hero is good but is there anything out there better for night time.

Thanks for any info

your budget will dictate what camera is available. The hero 2 for the money does a good job of providing low light video.

A quick YouTube search of the HD hero1 vs 2 at night will show you how much better it is.

You will have to spend 2-3times as much to find a camcorder the will record as well inlow light. Also, you'll have to find proper mounts for the heavier camera

My friend says the hero2 is better when facing forward while recording other riders but when faced backwards the HIDs mess w/ it alot.

Thats what im seeing a quick search everything is $500+ mounts wouldnt be a problem i have a full machine shop at my disposal and a cousin that can fab up some custom mounts all i need is rough dims & measurements

true low light cameras are f/2.8 and lower and will cost more than $500.
