LOL... no $hi+! I checked the forecast this morning and saw the same thing. If it weren't for my stiff neck, I'd have rode in too.

The sun's coming out now... should be a nice and steamy ride home.

Just rode home from work. A very relaxing wet ride. I didn't think I would catch rain coming home so I left the rain gear at work. Either way, I like riding in the rain suited up or not.

da ?

I try to avoid it if I can. My biggest thing is having to wipe my visor every minute and all the water that the cars kick up. I don't like not being able to see objects that may be on the road when my visibility is hindered from the rain.

The other day driving home (dry conditions) in my 350Z, 2 sec of space b/t me and car in front, I hit a fkn 3' Orange rubber cone on 290 that was right in the path of my tire. No one had slowed down for it or swerved so there was no warning. Not cool. So just imagine like that, in the rain, on a motorcycle.

Its not like my clothes are dry if it doesn't rain. I can either be soaked in sweat or rainwater.

That's what I'm worry about! Well it will be my first chance to test my new Bilt water proof boots. Saddle bag and tank bag are already with their respective rain covers.

Yep that blew! Got soaked on the belt coming up from 59 so I figured I'd take 10 to 45's HOV, got hit again as soon as I got into the HOV. Worst part, by West road I was sweating again cause it was hot.

I was referring to rain gear over normal riding gear. My commute is relatively safe and usually not so congested due to the hours I leave house and work. I've never had a real problem from the water kicked up by cars since my visor is treated and having a sport touring windscreen helps. I keep a good distance from the car in front of me and ride away from the water spray.

You suck.

I actually thought I was going to miss it, then I drove right into it. It's not really the rain that bothers me, it's the white street paint and road that gets unreasonably slick. So much for having a clean bike, oh well, it was time to lube the chain again anyway.
