Is it the N00B in me, or the Harley guy in me ... but has anyone else already cleaned up their bike - like the rain never happened?

The Ninja is back to brand new shiny ...

The good that came from today (at luckyxdevil1's expense) is I have been on the internet looking for Textile Riding Pants with protective knees and hip padding.

I'm not a leather guy (yet), but would like a pant or over-pant, that I can comfortably wear and trust. I was looking around at everyone's gear today and saw brands like Cortec, and Joe Rocket, but I'm busy reading reviews. I'm open to suggestion too.

Icon Kevlar..60 bucks..

You can get some knee/shin guards pads from Alpine star at Motorcycles Unlimited for 25. They fit nicely under any pants.

My armour was at all leathers.com for 60 bucks. I'm pretty sure it helps. Breaths well too.

Well, I mean I don't like leather pants. Of course I like leather jackets, and gloves.

And don't think I don't pull out the leather chaps in Colorado. Brrr!

It's a simple, 45 mph marked left followed by a right...

Been thru at triple digits and not sure what the issue is for some, other than lack of experience or target fixation.

exactly. The main thing is for these rides is that some have never been on that curve.. its very deceiving.

Could have been damp, and hit a patch of oil. Glad he walked away. Cool video Ryan.

Thanks!! Those are fun to make. Same here man!! I think it was mostly target fixation, and trying to get to much on the gas. Lucky and I talked it out, and the way he described it he went off right at the apex...headed strait for it but not leaned over... Stood the bike up instead of rolling off the throttle and setting up.. I think that looking at the drop off there, and corn... maybe you were hungry Lucky!! Lesson learned.

Being a blind curve... trust me I know.. gotta take it easy..

Stuff happens. Someone else went down there last month. He rode home though. Ride safe, and have fun. See you next time.

First turn on the right. 40 MPH...nice sweeping turn

Exact same spot as Roachie from almost a year ago.
Jim, Colin, I'm sure you guys remember this.

Same place. I think the problem is the pace. If it is a noob ride, take it easy. It always turns into a competition ...
