It's very important! You'll go where your eyes look.

You look at the curb along the curve, you'll go towards that curb.

Plus, perception of speed is different when you look 100' ahead, compared to 10' ahead.

You need to practice it! If you're in a two way lane, it'd be really important to learn how to do that

Agree with them 100%. Huge difference, especially on a track.

Why "can't" some people look through turns exactly? I mean, what is the reason, physically unable? Mentally unable? Theoretically unable? Metaphorically unable? Inquiring minds want to know.

It's just a bad habit that needs to be broken. It's fixable, as it was a bad habit for myself.

I think people cant or wont look through a turn because it is something you have to train yourself to do.

Thank you all that did not comprehend the question the OP asked.

I took MSF, then rode for 3 or 4 weeks.... not always, but often looking at the road and lane position, or looking one bike ahead. Wasn't running wide or anything, just kinda wandering around that area of the lane.

Then I remembered, "Oh yeah, they said look WAY ahead"... smoothed everything out. And thought, "huh... it really does work." I still watch the bike in front of me when in a pack, but I try to not be very close... especially if cornering at a decent speed.

I stated my "thoughts", which is "what" the OP asked for. I even asked questions as to better understand the circumstances under which "can't" was implied.
