I just got a really good deal on some Bridgestone S20, at Wild West Honda! It is a really new tire that is supposed to be better than BT-016 Pros.
Call them, and tell them you are from MotoHouston.

Please ask for Bill or Robert when you call Wild West Honda. We have 6 full time parts employees, but not all of them are authorized to offer the level of discount I have been giving Motohouston members. Thanks. I have a huge imventory of tires, if you need a deal on something other than S20's I can help with that as well. I also stock a lot of sport touring tires, Metzeler Z-8 Interacts, Michelin Pilot Road 3's, and the new Dunlop Roadsmart 2. For new riders or those of you commuting on your sportbike, the Pirelli Anget ST is a great tire for an extended mileage sport tire.

So would you rank the Pilot Road 3 better than the Angel ST? I'm not new or commuting, but I would like a tire with great center tread life, and great grip on the outer rubber. Last time I got tires I had the Pilot Road 2's with PP front. They've come out with some new stuff since then and I need to get caught up on what's what now.

The Pirelli Angel is considered an extended mileage sport tire, still in the sport tire category. The Michelin Pilot Road 3 is a sport touring tire. Hard to compare those tires without trying both to see which is better for you. I don't usually recommend putting the sport touring tires on sport bikes, but it works in some situations.

I put the Angels on my '98, Gary. Sidewall is a little stiffer than the Corsas were and probably not a good idea for a fast track day. It's sister tire, the Metzeler Z8 has some good reviews also.

I get mine from Tejas. $309 front and rear installed. BT 016. But you are on the other side of town.

I should have stated, tires will be for street use. I'll probably end up talking to whoever I buy tires from next and get the lowdown to figure out what I want
