At schlitterbahn, I consider it kind of expensive, but all you pay for really is admission.

At splashtown I hear they nickle and dime your . But the admission price is cheaper.

What all is needed to buy/rent while in splashtown?

I say screw Splashtown i always come back broke thats with my 3 kids and wife.
Schlitterbahn is a better deal ( my 2 cents) you pay alil more at gate fee's but you can take a cooler in and tubes are free plus i think the lines are quicker
And if you go after 3pm its a lower gate fee and you still have plenty of time to enjoy

I went two years ago and had fun with woman and her two kids. The prices are high and the food is junk. Bring a cooler and lunch, they have picnic benches to eat at outside the front gates. As far as ghetto goes, it is no more/less ghetto than the rest of Houston, which IMO gets more ghetto with every passing day.

Man I miss waterworld. That place was cool back in the day. Never been there as long as ive lived here. Heard about it being ghetto. Don't know personally. Heard from many that schlitterban in g-town is really worth it. Or even better the original one by the guadalupe.

From luckyxdevil1's phone using, my phone.

It's ghetto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and they do nickel and dime your . But you can get around it and just bring a cooler with lunch and and leave it in your car. Your aloud to leave once and come back in. So do that, you can not bring drinks or food in. The food there is and expensive. the lines suck !

I refuse to ever go to splashtown, ill drive to NB for Schlitterbahn.
