I was a car guy before I got into riding.

So forgive me while I use what I already had at my disposal.

I'm having a dummy moment, but how do you get the spools on the jackstands?

Nice SV. I had the exact same taillights on my 03 and liked the look and integrated blinkers but eventually got rid of them because they weren't nearly as bright (safe) as the stock LEDs.

Place a jackstand under the right side spool first while the bike is on its kickstand. Then push the bike until it sits on the right spool and simultaneously slide the left stand into place.

It might work, but then again it's more work than using a rear stand.

Nothing to write home about really. I just enjoy wrenching in general, so friends and family always call on me for some free labor when their vehicles need repairs or maintenance. I started with an old honda accord back in the import tuner days, adding bolt ons here and there. Nothing extreme (no wild ricer body kits, never!), my taste has always been subtle. Upgraded to an IS300 after the accord got rear ended. That car, however lacking in power, was a joy to drive. Now I just have the bike, and a stock '08 accord between me and brother when the weather gets foul. He has a topless E46 M3 that he thinks is pointless to drive with the roof closed.

I used to be a 12volt + grease monkey MECP and ASE certified for like 5 years..
I do most work on my bikes.. after all is not mechanic intervention but just installing or changing parts
