I usually am as well but my move from a ZX14 to an R1 was a bad one. I lost my mind. The R1 was great but at then 42years old, that riding position was just a little much for these old bones. The Crossplane motor was cool for a while but I missed my "hand of torque" on the ZX14.

One other I really miss without digital pics is my ZXR1100. That was a keeper..but I didn't.

I regret trading my sv for the vfr and i regret selling the vfr. if a still somehow had both bikes i think my stress level would be nil.
i was one with the sv, and the vfr short can was a mean growl. raaaaaaaaarrrgarghalgarghaluuurrrr

2001 Blackbird.
I had it set up very well with Ohlins rear and Race Tech front suspension, a pipe and PC.
The thing was very fast and comfortable, especially when with a passenger. Matter of fact, I've yet to find a more competent bike when riding with a passenger
