Rider down - W. Little York Rd.

Rode back from Rudy's BBQ with my bike buddies at work and saw a rider getting strapped on a gurney off W. Little York Rd just west of Fairbanks N. Houston Rd. Bike looked like a Harley Sportster 1200 or something like that. Bike is pretty messed up, but it doesn't look like collision damage, so probably lossed it going around the mild left sweeper.

Hope he is okay.

I think the place sucks....maybe it's because it's in the inside of a gas station? I prefer Carls out at Telge by the airport.

Mild left hander....even that's stretching it...quick scaling shows the arc of the centerline to be 3,861 ft....dude must have been doing 160 mph. hope he's ok.

Very familiar with that intersection , always lots of grease and on the road from commercial vehicles and general traffic. Hope he makes a full recovery I know alot of people at Baker that ride to and from work that way!

that mild left curve is pretty much straight. im betting someone cut him off or pulled out in front of him, and he had to "lay it down" to avoid hitting them.

Hope the best for the rider. Ride that road everyday, nice in a lot of parts. Car pulled out in front of me today on little york. To many cars to haul on. Imo.

Never did get a good look and frankly wasn't trying very hard. I detest rubbernecks, so I make it a point not to do it myself. Besides, I was riding mid-pack and had to maintain my pace.

By the time we rode past, police, paramedics and tow trucks were all there already. One medic was crouched over the rider and appeared to be working on rider's head restraint/stabilizer(?). Rider had on only a T-shirt, but I would imagine any gear would have been taken off and/or cut away by then. I didn't see any blood/gore/rash on rider, but that was with one passing glance. Bike was at the edge of the grass and surrounded by debris, so probably has not been moved yet. No bent forks or other sign of collision impact.

For me, a very sobering reminder to wear ATGATT, even if it is a short lunch hop and 90F out.

It was one thing to read about riders down posted by others. Quite another to witness it personally on a route I frequent.
