miss me some Giordano's in Oakbrook...unfortunately, I'm swamped with work and 11 is too early for me....maybe next week? Got an apt. project going up right around the corner from there and could make an extended site visit/lunch out if it.

I've never been a fan of deep dish. I like the NY style better, but I'm willing to give Barry's a shot and see if it's good. More notice in advance would help.

I usually skip lunch so that I can leave work early. If you set something up for the evening time I would do my best to try and attend. Has anyone tried the pizza there? I like all kinds of pizza.

Back in the late 70's, there was a place in Dallas called "Chicago Pizza Authority". They made a pizza like I have never seen before, or since. A slice must have been 2 to 3 inches thick, and had about a billion calories.

Deep Dish FTW! My mom was raised in Chicago so I've been a few times. I remember the best pizza came from a little shop at the end of our street, "Golden Crust".

There's a pizza shop that recently opened up in Sugar Land, they have chicago style pizza as well. Windy City pizza, I've tried them and they are pretty good to.

I love deep dish pizza from Chicago!
I've tired a Windy City Pizza on the north side and thought it was horrible.

Maybe next Thursday. A bunch of us usually meet in that area on Thursdays already.
