I use Greens Lock shop up on Kuykendahl.
They have blanks for most of the bikes out there.

Get blank key from dealer then use choice of locksmith. I used Knapp lock on W. Alabama.

Hey guys, enlighten me on why everyone goes thru so much trouble to get a duplicate key made from all these different places? When I needed a duplicate key made for my '05 R6 I just went to the local Yamaha dealer (not in Houston) and bought one and they cut it for me and the total charge was $6.

Is it different in Houston or something? What am I missing here?

Safe n' Lock or something like that. Right behind Jack in the Box. That is where I got my spare key for the Honda VFR done. Cost me less than $5 and fits fine. I did hear they don't do all keys.

Just be glad that you don't have a BMW.

The blank alone is $80. Then the dealership has to key it to your bike because it's chipped.

Oh, and WTF. Buy a $17k motorcycle and you get one metal key and one plastic "emergency" key.

Most dealerships won't cut if for you unless you have paper work to show it is your bike. ACE hardware stores carry some motorcycle keys, but i would get a blank key and get it cut from ACE
