Guilty by association. Even if nothing sticks and he gets off scott free... the cop still proved his point, you can be harassed being involved in such actions... even if you are not the most active. It'll make this guy think twice, as well as many others. Too many believe in the "he can only pull over one of us" thing. , I KNOW i don't want to be the "one" that gets stopped. This is why i don't hang with the FAST rides (especially since I'd be the one at the back), and also why I question whether I want a GoPro strapped to my helmet... just seems like asking for it. MOST people aren't gonna assume you were videoing or participating in anything "boring".

If this guy TRULY didn't want to be involved... he would've exited and left the scene of douchebaggery. The whole group was enticing the police for action, and they acted.

In se Texas is what I meant. I phone. The northern routes in se Texas , the 5 0 know what to expect. We just ride fast for the most part. They just get tired of the phone calls from the citizens and when one loses their life. Up here they know what to expect therefore reciprocate accordingly. But I still got no love for the police in north Texas

Yeah - obscuring your tag is a basically saying to the cops "I'm a complete who will very probably run if given half a chance. I don't have {legal tags, insurance, license, whatever} and i don't want to take the time to get it taken care of."

Sorry - but a tucked, obscured tag is begging to get pulled over.

How come i never see a whole procession of 50 Dodge Neons taking up 3 to 4 lanes of roadway, swerving in and out?

The arrest was a bit unwarranted, but so was the guys actions after pulled over. -- A golden rule, respect others and you should get respect back.

And filming the event from a headcam is a terrible idea. I think I've mentioned that a few times to current forum posters who "speed in Mexico" and "lane split". If you don't have a video of the event, the police won't want to see your video of the event. plain and simple. This guy painted a huge target on his head (possibly for the same idea that after the event, people would look at his video on his website / facebook / youtube / etc. )

and the last motorcycle that was hitting the brakes / driving reckless / taunting the officer needed to be taken out of the driving equation for the sake of other drivers on the road. The officer should have bumped him if need be. Just IMO of course. I'm sure the cruiser can take out a few bikers before the cruiser isn't fit for road use.

Yea, or hold up the wrong guy in traffic with a large vehicle and or firearm and a serious case of road rage

couldn't the LEO treat the guy who stopped and removed items from the truck as a possible felon? They would have no way to know what he took. What if it was drugs or weapons? Would that give them the right to "bump" him off his bike after that?
