+1

Ticket for 120/65 in Bandera County

Written warning 155/65 on 288 in Pearland late at night...but got cited for expired inspection or something like that... You shoulda seen the look on the judge's face....

I'm not 100% on those numbers as they occurred a few years ago, but very close.

If it isn't Texas law, it isn't relevant.

I'm thinking (along with I imagine 99% of this forum) I'll go with Wackjum as final word when it comes to legal advice and information.

I wouldn't necessarily attach this mentality to "this" website in particular.
Any slice of the poplulation, be in on the internet or in person, will have it's percentage of idiots.

Unfortunately, brains or common sense aren't requisites for purchasing and riding a motorcycle.... or posting uneducated opinions on the web.

Nah, I just said there are "Some" here. Never meant to blanket the board as "stupid".....then that would make me stupid...

After 13 pages of arguing doesn't change the fact that if you make the police man's job difficult or he thinks you are he will with you.

Hey guys, ya know I'm just voicing my opinion like everyone else on this board, and also bringing up a couple of things that I know to be on the Texas transportation code. And I did not realize that you had to be on this forum for more than three months to do so, maybe I pushed the issue to far, but I was getting tired of some people trying to make me sound like an idiot about the law, now I'm no expert by any means just passing on what a D.P.S. officer had told me and i tried to confirm it through the internet, So if i'm out of line I will apologize to the whole Motohouston board. But Ulric this about you calling me a little thats taking things to far, I mean nothing I wrote was even remotely pointed in your direction I don't even know who the you are, I may be a little or a dumbass as another member wrote but I have enough decency and couth to atleast wait until I'm eye to eye talking to someone before I pass judgement. So I will unclench as you put it, but you need to practice what you preach.
