Only comment I have is the plate was visible in the original vid; it is pretty much folded horizontal with the ground.

Beyond that, the rider was an idiot.

it is always the cops fault when someone acts like a head and then runs his mouth.

i would make a lousy cop, i do not have the personality for it... the way i have seen some folks talk to cops, i would knock their in the dirt and then haul them to jail.

maybe you need to relax a little and think. why he pulled him over and told him to relinquish his camera

he had no right to seize his property

but yeah, lets talk about the rider only

The cop was in the wrong for trying to take the camera and the biker was a little too mouthy. Asshattery on the part of both. That said the cop was the one trying to do something illegal, the biker was just being a jackass.

I haven't read after this post but there is no threshold for speed to make reckless driving. 30 over can be reckless the same as 1 over or 100 over. Reckless driving is a judgement call made by the officer. There is no set speed that automatically becomes reckless driving.

I took defensive driving a few years ago with a guy that got a ticket and was sent on his way for 150 in a 60. Two members of this forum, whose names will not be mentioned, were pulled over for 130 and sent on their way without even receiving a written warning.
There you go

To be fair - a lot of them look bigger than they actually are due to the vest, bat-belt and uniform design.
